Personal information I will collect about a pupil

There is a need to collect a small amount of personal information to ensure accurate training records are kept and pupils can receive the training they need to help them to learn to drive safely and pass their driving test.  There is also a legal necessity to ensure that a pupil is legal to drive, which involves them presenting their provisional driving licence on their first lesson.

I will record the following personal information about a pupil:

  • First and last name
  • Date of birth
  • Full address and postcode
  • Provisional driving licence number (needed to book their test)
  • Phone number(s)
  • Email address
  • Learning progress (Driver Record)
  •
  • Date of each lesson, cost of lesson, amount paid with method and outstanding amount owed - signed by pupil to confirm the lesson took place

Terms and Conditions are read by the pupil and must be signed & dated before lessons can commence.

From 25th May 2018 onwards I will ask for a pupil’s consent (signature and date) to take a photo of them holding their pass certificate to put on my website and business Facebook page for marketing purposes.  Both sites have full public access.
